Shannon's Story

Hello, I'm Shannon Elizabeth, a passionate interior designer born and raised in the picturesque town of Berwick, Louisiana. I embarked on my design journey by earning a Bachelor of Interior Design degree from the University of Southwestern Louisiana in 1996. As an Allied Member of the American Society of Interior Design (ASID), I've had the privilege of honing my craft and contributing to the world of interior design.

My career began at Interiors by Joann, a local design firm in Morgan City, where I was fortunate to have the incredible Mrs. Joann Armato as my mentor. Her unwavering love, support, and guidance shaped me into the designer I am today. When Mrs. Joann retired, the business evolved into "the Bird's Nest," which eventually relocated to Lafayette, Louisiana. I continued to work at "the Bird's Nest" in Morgan City until 2004.

In 2004, I took a leap of faith and embarked on my entrepreneurial journey by founding Shannon Elizabeth Designs. My desire to have control over my schedule, enabling me to be more available to my family, was the driving force behind this decision.

Since then, my life has evolved in wonderful ways. I've remarried, now sharing my life with Ryan Bianchini of New Orleans, and I'm proud to be a stepmother to Riley Bianchini. My heart is full with the presence of my daughters, Emma and Ella Hover. Currently, my home base is divided between Morgan City, Louisiana, and Madison, Mississippi, where I continue to pursue my passion for helping people tell their stories and leave their legacy through the art of interior design.
